The coatings application process used by G-F One Coatings has been developed,
refined and thoroughly tested, what we believe is, the most challenging
climate on earth - a Minnesota Garage Floor. These floors annually freezes,
thaws and sandy road salts. Whether you’re looking for a commercial,
industrial or residential floor, our coatings application process remains
the same to insure the long lasting quality we demand and our customers
expect.
A short video about how we Prep Concrete using out "Prep Perfect System" before we apply our coatings.
First, forensic testing to tell us the condition of you concrete.
1. Static moisture and Ph tests will tell us which coating products can
be successfully applied and also which ones would most likely fail if they
were to be applied. 2. Hardness testing will tell us which tooling will be the most effective
for grinding your concrete prior to coating application.
The coatings application process begins with grinding to open the pores of
the concrete while exposing cracks, removing contaminants and creating a smooth
and more level surface which helps to reduce puddles.
With grinding completed we are able to vertically fill all cracks. Please see
the case
study on how to repair cracks for more on this subject.
With the cracks filled and your floor properly swept and vacuumed, we are
ready to apply our polyaspartic/polyurea primer/sealer, chip bed and topcoat
containing slip fall protection for safety.
